The Teknim LCD Keypad is a professional security interface designed for seamless integration with all Teknim VAP series alarm panels and compatible with Teknim VPC series keypads, excluding VPC‑104. Featuring a backlit, two‑line, 32‑character LCD screen, it ensures clear visibility in any environment. Its multi‑functional silicone keys and four dedicated buttons for each partition allow quick and partial arming with backlight and activation indicators. Equipped with an internal buzzer and the ability to read event logs, the keypad enhances monitoring and control. Automatic key lighting activates when motion is detected in a designated zone, while the chime feature provides sound and light alerts when zones are active or inactive. Additional functions include smoke detector reset via PGM, special keys for panic, fire, and duress alarms, and energy‑saving mode during mains failure. Security is reinforced with auto protection against five incorrect password attempts and a built‑in sabotage switch requiring no extra cabling. The display alternates between thermometer, time, date, and auxiliary texts, while easy on‑screen programming and multi‑language support simplify setup. Navigation is intuitive with arrow and shortcut keys, and users can choose between standard green or optional blue backlight.
